The GOAT V series on Global Poker has reached its final week and seen plenty of players winning big across dozens of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins events. The series, running July 17-Aug. 6, features 216 events with combined guarantees of GC 941,000,000 and SC 2,056,500.
The action on Global Poker last week included GPC GOAT 17-H: NLHE [Deep], an event with a GC 15,000,000 guarantee that drew 166 entrants. At the end of it all, "ItsMoMo" walked away with the top prize of GC 3,217,500 and the trophy.
Another Gold Coins winner was "Cryan01", who got through a field of 230 runners in the GC 20,000,000 guaranteed GPC GOAT 14-H: NLHE [Rebuy, 6-Max] - All or Nothing Day for GC 6,176,730, as well as "Pizzel2005", who took down GPC GOAT 16-H: NLHE [6-Max] for GC 4,583,160.
On Sunday, July 30, "Lizzie75" navigated a field of 169 runners in the GC 30,000,000 guaranteed GPC GOAT 20-H: NLHE to win 6,660,225, one of the biggest Gold Coins scores so far.
