The recently completed Korea Poker Cup in Jeju had many big winners, but none more so than Christian Harder, who took down multiple events, and nearly won a third.

The series ran April 7-13 inside the Landing Casino within the luxurious Jeju Shinhwa World. Chun Lung Wong, as we reported earlier this week, took down the KRW 1,240,000 ($850) buy-in Main Event for $141,255, beating out 1,228 entrants.

Harder, who has $6 million in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob, finished 91st in the Main Event. But it was far from his most impressive performance during the series.

Harder won a pair of tournaments during the week-long series in South Korea. The first win came in Event #7: KRW 5,000,000 High Roller (approximately $3,500). He faced a field of 95 players, none of whom were a match for the American poker star.

The champion won $80,250 in a chop agreement with runner-up Yuhang Chen, who received $83,650. Kuan Han Lee finished in third place for $44,305. Joseph Cheong, a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner and third place finisher in the 2010 WSOP Main Event, was the only other American at the final table. Cheong was paid $22,715 for fifth place.

Harder didn't stop there. He closed out the series by winning Event #25: KRW 1,000,000 Mega Stack Closer for $22,235. He beat Po Sen Weng heads-up for the title. The runner-up from Taiwan received $14,785. Five of the nine players at the final table are from China. The prize pool of $92,145 included 150 entrants, 21 of which were paid.

The two-event champ wasn't the only big winner in Jeju, however. The player who earned the largest payday was actually Meng Ling Lin, champion of the $25,000 Single-Day Super High Roller. She received $479,300 for beating out 70 crushers in what was an action-packed day of poker.

Harder's largest payday of the series came in this event as he finished runner-up for $320,000. He was the star of the series by a wide margin. The Super High Roller featured some of the best poker pros in the world and some big names finished in the money, including Paul Phua (fifth place for $112,000) and Wiktor Malinowski (ninth place for $50,000).
