Jenny Westerlund Wins Record-Breaking WSOPC Main Event in Tallinn
Jenny Westerlund is the latest winner of a WSOP Circuit Main Event ring after a breathtaking final table performance at the record-breaking 2025 WSOPC Tallinn.
The Swede came into the day second in chips and wasted no time asserting herself, playing an aggressive style that saw her rise to the top of a record 888-entry field at OlyBet’s Olympic Park Casino.
For the win, Westerlund takes home €200,200, by far her biggest live result, along with the €5,000 Ticket to Paradise package. Her previous best cash was $42,451, at the Nordic Masters of Poker over ten years ago.
Westerlund would seal the title in remarkable fashion as on the very first hand of three-handed play, all the chips went in preflop. Westerlund, with A♥J♦, called off both Krzysztof Chmielowski Q♠Q♣ and Igor Pihela Sr A♣6♥. Chmielowski was in a strong spot to double through both and take control of the final table, and the 2♦9♦3♦ flop kept him in front, though Westerlund picked up a flush draw.
The A♠ on the turn swung the pendulum, putting Westerlund ahead with the top pair. When the 5♥ landed on the river, it was all over.
Chmielowski finished runner-up for €128,500, while Estonia’s Pihela Sr, the last local left in the field, earned €90,200 for third.

History Maker Westerlund Reacts
Speaking to Andreas Höglund on the OlyBet stream, Westerlund admitted she was still trying to process the moment after topping such a large WSOP Circuit Main Event field.
“I don’t think I really recognize the feeling yet,” she said. “It’ll be a couple of days before I realize I actually won all that money. It’ll make a big difference in my life.”
Westerlund came into the final day second in chips and played fearlessly throughout, using her stack to apply pressure at every opportunity. On her style, she added, “Because I had a big stack, I wanted to pressure the middle stacks and small stacks — and it worked.”
Despite banking a career-best €200,200, Westerlund was clear it wasn’t the money that meant the most, explaining, “The ring was most important. The money is amazing, but the ring is most important.”
The Swedish player also added that "I wasn't nervous at all" coming into the final day and explained she would celebrate the landmark victory tonight by going for a meal with friends and then heading the the OlyBet Players' Party.
