The CNP by Winamax Grand Final at Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones wrapped up with a huge turnout as the €550 Main Event drew 2,684 entries and created a €1,207,000 prize pool.

Twenty-one players returned for Day 4 to battle it out for the six-figure first-place prize along with the season-ending trophy.

When play finally wrapped up just before sunrise, it was Spain’s David Nus who walked away with the title and €134,060 after navigating a final table that saw a three-way deal made.

Final Day Action

The final table started with eight players, that had Guilherme Barroso Sole atop of the chip counts, with Nus just a few big blinds behind.

After the departures of Pedro Navio, Luis Martín and Luis Miguel López, ICM deal was proposed but Marcos Cuesta rejected it and asked each opponent for an extra €1,500. The table declined and action resumed.

Carlos Gutiérrez and David Rivas exited in fourth and fifth place respectively, opening the door for more deal negotiations. This time, Cuesta was able to find terms he agreed with, locking up €96,350, while Nus and Barroso each guaranteed themselves payouts of €104,060 and €87,590.

Nus led with three players remaining and secured his heads-up duel with Barroso after his king-ten rivered a pair to send out Cuesta.

The final hand came shortly before the room closed. Nus completed the small blind and Barroso checked to see a J43 flop. Both checked the K turn. The river was the 7 and Barroso bet 5 million. Nus moved all in and Barroso called with J5 for top pair but Nus showed 106 for a flush to close out the Grand Final.
