WPT bestbet Scramble Championship Returns Sept. 4 in Jacksonville
The World Poker Tour (WPT) is gearing up for a popular annual destination, Jacksonville.
More specifically, bestbet Jacksonville in Northern Florida, a card room that will play host to the $5,000 bestbet Scramble Championship, a No-Limit Hold'em tournament with $1,000,000 guaranteed.
The tournament typically runs in November, but is scheduled for Sept. 4-9 this year at one of the top poker rooms in the Sunshine State. Action will play down to six on Sept. 8 before coming back for the livestreamed final table the following day.
This event has a lengthy history of big winners, all of whom have been added to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup trophy, which you'll see displayed at bestbet if you attend.
Connor Rash, who won $315,530 after beating out 327 entrants in 2025, is the defending champion. Chilean poker pro Nick Yunis won it in 2024 for $310,079.

Tournament action at bestbet Jacksonville is already underway with numerous other events being hosted during the festival. Poker players can also satellite into the WPT World Championship, a season-ending Las Vegas series in December.
