Casino Barcelona Hosts the EuroPoker Circuit From September 14
The Casino Barcelona, the home of the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona festival since the tour's inception, is gearing up to host a more affordable tournament series this September.
From September 14-20, the EuroPoker Circuit, a new tour launched by Texapoker and Winamax in 2026, will call Casino Barcelona home. The fledgling tour has already enjoyed successful stops in France and Italy, and is now looking to build on its early success when it heads to Spain for the first time.
EuroPoker Circuit Barcelona events cost between €100 and €250 to enter, which pitches them at the more affordable end of the buy-in scale. Among those €250 buy-in tournaments are a Mystery Bounty and the Main Event, the latter running September 17-20.
If the Mystery Bounty and Main Event don't go to plan, players have daily €100 No-Liit Hold'em tournaments and a sprinkling of €150 Deepstack NLHE events to sink their teeth into.
EuroPoker Circuit Full Schedule
The Casino Barcelona has a long and storied history of hosting massive tournaments seamlessly. After the most recent EuroPoker Circuit Main Event set a new attendance record for the tour, the organizers are hoping for another record-breaking turnout in Barcelona.
In July, the EuroPoker Circuit headed to Casino Partouche de Pornic, where, with a schedule similar to the one in the table above, a €250 Main Event took place.
It saw 465 entrants create a €93,744 prize pool that the top 63 finishers shared. A min-cash weighed in at €625, with a final table appearance locking in at least €1,600. Thierry Piveteau of New Caledonia was the last player standing. His victory earned him €16,000.
After the Barcelona stop, the EuroPoker Circuit heads to Paris from September 29 to October 4, before ending the year with a pair of yet-to-be-announced legs. One of those is scheduled to run in Spain before closing out the year in Portugal. Watch this space for more details.
