GGPoker at the WSOP

The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is less than a week away, with the $10,000 Main Event starting July 2. If you, like thousands of poker players, dream of competing in the WSOP Main Event, you need to fire up GGPoker and see if you can navigate down the Road to vegas and capture a $12,000 package.

GGPoker is the official online poker site of the WSOP. In fact, GGPoker's parent company purchased the WSOP for $500 million in August 2024. As the official live reporting partner of the WSOP, PokerNews is well-placed to let you know about the best WSOP Main Event satellites and promotions, and we can tell you they are happening at GGPoker.

The Road to Vegas promotion began on March 9 and so far, at the time of writing, 643 GGPoker players have gotten their hands on $12,000 WSOP Main Event packages. Those packages include:

  • Entry to the $10,000 WSOP Main Event
  • $1,000 credited to your GGPoker account for accommodation
  • $1,000 credited to your GGPoker account for spending money
  • A special discount code for Caesars properties
  • GGPoker merchandise

Players such as Felipe Ramos, Jessica Teusl, Artur Martirosian, Ole Schemion, Jans Arends, and Adrian Mateos are among the list of Road to Vegas - $12K Package Qualifiers. Will you add your name to that list?

Each of those superstars played their way through a $1,200 MEGA Road to Vegas satellite. In these satellites, players start their quest for a WSOP Main Event package armed with 10,000 chips, with the aim to hit the Target Stack of 110,000 chips. The players to reach that total will be heading to Las Vegas in July to play in the WSOP Main Event as a GGPoker qualifier. Should any of the GGPoker qualifiers win the 2025 WSOP Main Event, they'll receive an additional $1 million on top of the first-place prize money.

GGPoker guarantees a set number of $12,000 packages and adds additional packages for every $12,000 in the prize pool

2025 WSOP Schedule Released: 100 Bracelet Events Confirmed

Of course, not many poker players can afford to flick in a $1,200 entry even if there is a potentially life-changing prize up for grabs. This is why GGPoker is running dozens of satellites for only $1 that feed into the $1,200 buy-in qualifiers.

The penultimate step to the $1,200 buy-in qualifiers is a $150 Step to $1,200 Road to Vegas Satellite. In these, players sit down with 5,000 chips with the aim of reaching a 45,000 stack. The number of $1,200 Road to Vegas tickets waiting to be depends on the prize pool's size.

Those $1,200 Road to Vegas tickets can be used to enter any $12,000 WSOP Main Event package-awarding satellites with a $1,200 buy-in.

How Many Players Will GGPoker Send to the 2025 WSOP Main Event?

The GGPoker tournament lobby proudly displays "1,000 Packages" above the Road to Vegas tab, with the website copy saying there will be 1,000+ qualifiers. Last year, GGPoker sent more than 1,100 players to the WSOP Main Event, including more than 730 who won their seats on GGPoker's global platform.

With GGPoker Ontario and ClubGG players also having their own WSOP Main Event promotions, there is every chance 1,200 or more WSOP Main Event entrants will be classified as GGPoker qualifiers.
