Players can kick off their run in the €200,000 GTD European Deepstack Poker Championship from home this week, with WPT Global hosting an OnLive Day 1 that feeds directly into the live tournament in Dublin.
The online starting flight takes place Sunday, February 15 at 8 p.m. (UTC) and allows players to build a stack online before traveling to Ireland for the later stages of the event at the Bonnington Hotel Conference Centre.
All surviving players from the online flight will carry their chip stacks forward into the live portion of the tournament.

The European Deepstack Poker Championship is one of the headline events of the Dublin Poker Festival, featuring a €700 buy-in and €200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Players qualifying through the OnLive Day 1 will join those advancing from the live Day 1 flights in Dublin.
The tournament schedule includes:
- OnLive Day 1: February 15 (8 p.m. UTC) on WPT Global
- Live Day 1A: February 26 (1 p.m. local time)
- Live Day 1B: February 27 (1 p.m. local time)
- Live Day 1C (Turbo): February 28 (11 a.m.)
- Day 2: March 1 (12 p.m.)
Tournament Structure and Format
The OnLive flight plays down to the end of Level 20, with remaining players progressing to Day 2 in Dublin.
Key tournament details include:
- Buy-in: $825 ($725 + $100) online equivalent of €700 event
- Starting stack: 100,000 chips (1,000 big blinds)
- Blind levels: 12-minute levels
- Re-entry: Up to 10 entries permitted
Satellite Path Available From $0.88
Players do not need to pay the full buy-in to take part. WPT Global is running a stepped satellite system into the event starting from just $0.88, feeding into $8.80 and $88 qualifiers that award €700 seats.
Satellite qualifiers have the added bonus of being eligible for a €100,000 Golden Ticket, which adds an extra €100,000 bonus to the winner’s prize if they go on to win the European Deepstack Poker Championship.
