Biography

Brayden Lou is an American poker player who won his first bracelet at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Lou triumphed in Event #25: $500 Frezeout No-Limit Hold'em, coming out on top of a 4,100-strong field. He won a coveted WSOP gold bracelet and $196,066 in prize money.

Lou was on a road trip with his father when they decided to stop by the 2026 WSOP. Lou had recently graduated from Gordon College in Boston and was making his way home to California. The pair stopped in Las Vegas with the idea that Lou would play in one event. He entered the $500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout event, and the rest is history.

“It’s pretty amazing,” Lou said. “I guess I can scratch this off my bucket list. I ran well, played well. That’s how it usually goes for tournament winners.”
