Michael Meiterman, more affectionately known in the gambling world as Mikki Mase, is a professional gambler and social media influencer.
Mase is an avid poker player, although that isn't what he does for a living, nor is it his passion. The Southern California resident has appeared many times on Hustler Casino Live, but hasn't had much success and has lost nearly $1 million in the games over the years.
His true claim to fame comes from his Instagram page and the fact he claims he can beat baccarat, a casino game many gamblers say is impossible to beat as the house always has an edge. Mase is a polarizing figure in gambling, much like fellow poker player Sean Perry, who runs a controversial sports betting picks service.
Mase has over 450,000 Instagram followers and has appeared on numerous popular podcasts, including the No Jumper podcast, which is hosted by another poker player, "Adam22."
In April 2024, Mase was detained by police in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles, apparently over a fireworks issue that some neighbors confused to be gunshots. He and three others were briefly detained and questioned, but quickly released and never charged with a crime.
