Shundan Xiao is an American poker player who ran deep in the 2024 WSOP Main Event.
Having learned to play poker from her wife, she first cashed in the 2023 WSOP Ladies Championship. She has since cashed in numerous events including the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
She's also praised her wife for introducing her to poker: "It's all because of her," she told PokerNews.
Since her 28th-place finish in the WSOP Main Event, Xiao has cashed in three more tournaments. She came 11th in a $630 Lucky Chances event and 53rd in the NAPT Cup at the 2024 NAPT. She missed out on her first WSOP Circuit ring after she finished seventh in the $3,300 High Roller at WSOPC Las Vegas.
