SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS - POKERNEWS
THIS PROMOTION IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY BATTLE OF MALTA. POKERNEWS ACTS SOLELY AS THE ADMINISTRATOR AND EXECUTION PARTNER OF THE PROMOTION, FACILITATING THE TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION, MARKETING DISTRIBUTION, AND OPERATIONAL DELIVERY ON BEHALF OF THE PROMOTOR.

• NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE COMPETITION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU HAVE NOT YET WON. SOME RESTRICTIONS APPLY.
• ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES INTO THE PRIZE DRAW.

Terms & Conditions – Battle of Malta Main Event Seat Giveaway
- Each winner receives one (1) seat to the Battle of Malta Main Event valued at €600. The prize includes tournament entry only and does not include travel, accommodation, or any additional expenses.
- Battle of Malta main event dates are: May 28th Day 1A at 1pm / May 29th Day 1C at 1pm / May 30th Day 1E at 1pm / May 31st Day 1G (Turbo) at 10am
- The prize has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for any other product or service.
- The seat is strictly personal and non-transferable.
- Minimum age requirement applies:
Players must be at least 18 years old to participate, and where applicable under local or multi-jurisdictional rules, the minimum age may be 21 years old.
- Winners may be required to complete standard KYC verification before receiving winnings.
- Casino Malta reserves the right to refuse entry to any player who is on a self-exclusion list, internal blacklist, or otherwise ineligible under regulatory or compliance requirements.
- The seat is valid only for the specified Battle of Malta Main Event edition and cannot be carried forward to future events.
- Casino Malta reserves the right to disqualify entries or withdraw the prize in cases of fraud, abuse, or breach of rules.

Competition Period
12:00 BST on 1st May to 23:59 BST on 10th May 2026.

Entry Requirements
To participate in the Competition, during the Competition Period you must:
a) ensure you are following @PokerNews on Instagram or X (Twitter) as applicable (you must be following @PokerNews on the platform on which you wish to enter);
b) navigate to the @PokerNews page on either Instagram or X (Twitter);
c) locate the promotional post on the @PokerNews page on either Instagram or X (Twitter) and tag two (2) friends in the comments (Instagram) or replies (X); and
d) share the promotional post (quote on X, share to story on Instagram) using your own account via Instagram or X (Twitter).
If you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria and successfully complete the steps above, you will have one valid entry to the Competition (“Entrants”).
Entrants are limited to one entry per platform and any additional entries will be disqualified.
Entrants must not permit or allow another person to take part in the Competition on their behalf.
Entries submitted outside the Competition Period will not be accepted.

One (1) Entrant will be randomly selected on X (Twitter) and one (1) on Instagram, by the Promoter from the pools of eligible Entrants (“Winner”). Promoter’s selection of the Winner will be final and may not be challenged. Promoter remains the final arbiter of any decision as regards the Competition.
We will contact the Winners via direct message to their Instagram or X (Twitter) account within 48 hours of the end of the Competition Period (“Winner Notification”).
The Winners must claim the Prize by responding to the Winner Notification to accept the Prize within 24 hours (“Response Deadline”). If the Winner does not respond to the Winner Notification and accept the Prize to the Promoter by the Response Deadline, the Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to offer the Prize to another participant.
The Winners may also be announced on the Promoter’s social media and websites (“Announcement”) and by entering the Competition, Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promoter is entitled to make the Announcement including their name.
