2025 WSOP Day 46 - 7 Fantasy Sweats Remain in Main Event; Brandt or Wong Could Win a Bracelet Today
On Day 46 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Day 6 of the 2025 WSOP $10,000 Main Event will play out. The field of 9,735 runners is down to 202, and there are a handful of fantasy players remaining.
They include Maksim Pisarenko (Team Noori), Adam Hendrix (Team Lady Gaga), Nick Pupillo (Team Girl Dads), Isaac Haxton (Team BTG), and Esther Taylor (Team Survivor Sweat). Likewise, ODB Bonus players still in are Michael Mizrachi and Francis Anderson.
Event #86: $1,000 Mystery Bounty PLO is down to the final 29 players from a 5,284-entry field. Of those, two of them are 25K Fantasy players in Lawrence Brandt (Team Handsome Horses) and Danny Wong (Team Hoggers), who sit 11th and dead last in chips, respectively.
Day 3 of Event #88: $50,000 High Roller will see 17 players from a 252-entry field return to action, including five fantasy players – Martin Zamani (Team AJ’s Eagles), Sergio Aido (Team Dinkers), Sam Soverel (Team Lang), Matthew Wantman (Team Handsome Horses), and Philip Sternheimer (Team Handsome Horses).
In Event #91: $1,500 PLO, the 1,384-entry field was whittled down to 103 players after Day 1. They include chip leader Nacho Barbero (Team Glue Factory), Josh Reichard (Team Lang), Dario Alioto (Team Liaison), Sean Troha (Team Frog Poison), Renji Mao (Team Splash Sports), Andrew Ostapchenko (Team Liaison), Robert Mizrachi (Team Splashy Octopi), Erik Seidel (Team Splashy Octopi), David Coleman (Team Liaison), Yueqi Zhu (Team NOVIG), Joshua Mccully (Team Lady Gaga), Allan Le (Team Dinkers), and Ben Yu (Team Survivor Sweat); as well as, ODB Bonus players Bin Weng, Jason Stockfish, and Qiang Xu.
