Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Kara Scott
Kara Scott

Kara Scott opened to 35,000 and Philippe Souki raised to 80,000. The Team 888Poker ambassador re-raised all-in for her stack of around 340,000 and Souki called it off.

Kara Scott: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Philippe Souki: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board of {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} saw Scott eliminated in 13th place, an unlucky end to a great run through the 288-entry field.

Mihu Flops the Flush

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Cristian Mihu and Sam Grafton tangled on a board of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts} and it was Cristian Mihu who came out on top.

Grafton held {5-}{4-} and he called a long way, but Cristian Mihu had flopped the flush with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and he chips up at Grafton's expense.

Three Bust to Create Final Table, Souki Leads

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

After Andrea Volpi and Demetris Triantapillou both busted in short succession, Kevin Allen moved all-in for his final eight big blinds with {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and was called by Enzo Del Piero in the big blind with pocket nines. They held to send Allen home on the brink of the final.

"I got sic shoves through early on," Allen told us, "To be honest, it's hard to be out of the door after being all-in and at risk for the first time in my tournament, but I knew I was going to get called sooner or later. It happens."

With nine players left, Philippe Souki has the chip-lead. We'll be back after a short break with the chip-counts and re-draw for seating positions.

Jose Lopez made it 52,000 from the hijack position with {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and saw Mikhail Pokrepa call with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Charles Chattha called with {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} but when it came around to Ha Kim Li, he shoved all-in for 467,000 with pocket queens.

Lopez folded, but so too did Pokrepa and Chattha, Li gets it through, but Pokrepa had a premium hand there and remains short-stack.

Li Sets Up But Grafton Gets Away

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante

Sam Grafton raised under the gun to 45,000 and was called by Ka Him Li with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Cristian Mihu with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Shah Raza with {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} .

The flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} saw play checked to Cristian Mihu on the button, and he bet 65,000. Li raised all-in and everyone folded, Grafton getting away from potentially a painful hand with the kings.

Grafton Takes Plenty From Li

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Sam Grafton opened to 65,000 pre-flop from early position with {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and got raised by Ka Him Li with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} from the cut-off. Grafton called and the two men were heads-up to a flop.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Grafton checked. Li made it 135,000 and Grafton called. On the turn of {Q-Clubs}, both men checked. The river of {2-Clubs} saw Grafton lead for 180,000 but Li folded. Grafton will still be happy with the chips he made that hand.
