Hof Trebles as Bounty remains

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Natalie's Hof's 888Poker Bounty prize of the buy-in amount back if they knock out the sponsored pro on their first buy-in is tempting players into the fray and it has had the desired effect for Hof's stack.

She shoved pre-flop for 22,100 with {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and was called by Michael Benson with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Artan Dedusha with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The board of {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs} saw Hof treble and Benson depart, Dedusha still has a very playable stack.

Del Piero on Form?

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Enzo Del Piero has been moved to the feature table along with some other prominent names on this Day 1a. Natalie Hof, Arron Fletcher and Artan Dedusha all share the felt with Del Piero, but so far, he is above average and cruising on around 88,000.

The popular pro, who has two high roller results in the last month, will be looking to add a bit more pressure under the lights.

Fletcher Takes More from Dedusha

Level 6 : 400/800, 100 ante

Arron Fletcher and Artan Dedusha have clashed a number of times at Natalie Hof's table and the latest hand was no different.

Fletcher three-bet to 9,000 pre-flop from the small blind, and was only called by Dedusha. The flop of {3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was bet for 11,000 from Fletcher and Dedusha called. The turn of {10-Spades} saw Fletcher make it 62,000, however, and Dedusha folded. It would have been almost all of his stack.

Dinner Break

Level 5 : 300/600, 100 ante

The remaining players in Day 1a of the Main Event are on their dinner break and will return in an hour to play three more levels. We'll be back to see all the drama as it happens at the same time.

Weisner Bust But Re-Enters

Level 5 : 300/600, 100 ante

Melanie Weisner got her last 9,100 chips into the middle pre-flop with {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} and was called by Andrea Volpi's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} .

The board of {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} did nothing to help her cause and she was out before the dinner break.
Weisner will, by all accounts, be sitting back down after the break.
