Kevin Allen knows a little about sporting discipline, coming from a highly professional family in the area of football/soccer. It's not surprise that one of his greatest skills is temperament, and the Tottenham-supporting poker professional has just scored another positive result at his table.
One of four callers to a raise of 1,400 pre-flop, Allen saw a flop of and after two players checked, used his position and bet 4,800. The other three folded, and Allen has above his starting stack again after getting off to a tougher start than most.
Anthony Hardy, known as The Booky, has doubled after bluffing on the turn to push an opponent off the pot when the board had read but his opponent called with and was ahead against The Booky's ... until a king on the river sent Hardy up to just under 30,000 chips - the starting stack.
Melanie Weisner got her last 9,100 chips into the middle pre-flop with and was called by Andrea Volpi's .
The board of did nothing to help her cause and she was out before the dinner break.
Weisner will, by all accounts, be sitting back down after the break.

Arron Fletcher and Artan Dedusha have clashed a number of times at Natalie Hof's table and the latest hand was no different.
Fletcher three-bet to 9,000 pre-flop from the small blind, and was only called by Dedusha. The flop of was bet for 11,000 from Fletcher and Dedusha called. The turn of saw Fletcher make it 62,000, however, and Dedusha folded. It would have been almost all of his stack.
Enzo Del Piero has been moved to the feature table along with some other prominent names on this Day 1a. Natalie Hof, Arron Fletcher and Artan Dedusha all share the felt with Del Piero, but so far, he is above average and cruising on around 88,000.
The popular pro, who has two high roller results in the last month, will be looking to add a bit more pressure under the lights.
