Cruz Arriaza Ends Second Best

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Over on table one, Sergio Costa Carrasco defended his big blind against the raise to 300 by Miguel Cruz Arriaza and bet the {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop for 325, which his fellow countryman called. On the {J-Diamonds} turn, Costa Carrasco bet 175 only and was called before checking the {4-Spades} river.

Cruz Arriaza bet 2,000 and was snap-called to turn over {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a set. Costa Carrasco had that beat with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a straight and claimed a decent pot early on. The same table also features Ekaterina Kolmakova, one of the few women in today's field thus far.
