Welcome to Day 1b of the 888Live Poker Festival Main Event

Cards are in the air at 6 p.m. for Day 1b of the 2017 888Live Poker Festival London Main Event at Aspers Casino.

This is a £1,100 re-entry event with a £400,000 Guarantee. Players get a 30,000 starting stack and levels are one hour long so there is plenty of play.

As an added bonus 888Poker and Aspers have teamed up to present an amazing giveaway for the early players who register today before the end of Level 1.

The first 100 players to register before 7 p.m. will be given a spin on the Aspers Big Wheel with the chance to win a hi-tech Immerse 360 Action Camera which has the ability to shoot High Definition Virtual Reality video. The odds on winning the camera on the wheel are52 to 1 on so you’ll have to be very unlucky to miss out.

Day 1a yesterday saw Abu Khalek top a field of 71 entries to bag up 332,000 to lead the 20 survivors. Can someone top that today?

888Live Brings Shot Clock to London Festival

For the first time in 888Live tournaments Aspers will see the introduction of the Shot Clock.

Once the dealer has dealt the last card in a hand they operate the timer and the 'Shot Clock' begins and each player will be given a 30 seconds to act.

If a player is facing a bet or raise, the timer will begin only after their chips are counted and the number of chips required to call are stated. Players also have two Time Bank Chips, each of which will add an extra 60 seconds to the timer in the event that they need more time to reach a decision.
