Danut Dusts Off Bleau

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Iulian Andrei Bleau
Iulian Andrei Bleau

While the pace of eliminations has slowed down, the action at the tables has not. Soon after the new level had kicked in, Iulian Andrei Bleau three-bet all in out of the big blind for what appeared to be eight big blinds and Radu Danut on the button called.

Iulian Andrei Bleau: {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Radu Danut: {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The board of {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} brought no surprise and Bleau hit the rail in 38th place.

After jamming up her stack successfully to around 170,000, Ana Marquez was all in once more via three-bet and this time Zhiping Zeng as initial raiser called.

Ana Marquez: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Zhiping Zeng: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Zeng paired his queen to send the last woman standing to the rail in 39th place.

Mihoci Runs Out of Chips

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After defending his big blind against the raise by Alexandros Papadopoulos and got his remaining chips in after the {Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop.

Dan Cristian Mihoci: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Alexandros Papadopoulos: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The {2-Spades} turn was a bad card for Mihoci, as it took away some of his outs, and that made the {9-Spades} river bitter sweet as his two pair were not good enough to avoid the elimination.

Two Doubles

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Over on the feature table Bogdan Geanaliu was all in and at risk with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and chip leader Stefan Fabian looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. The board came {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Geanaliu doubled.

On the outer tables, Ana Marquez three-bet shoved out of the small blind to isolate the all in of Iulian Lucian Dragan.

Iulian Lucian Dragan: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Ana Marquez: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board came {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Marquez failed to get there, but recovered some chips after shoving soon after and stealing the blinds and antes.

Purice Busts in Massive Three-Way Clash

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Tudor Purice
Tudor Purice

The cards were all but rushed away and a big pile of chips sent over to Ferenc Csaba Pal over on table one while Tudor Purice was about to finish a snack he had ordered not long ago. Unfortunately for the start of the day chip leader, there were no chips in front of him anymore and Nicolase Sorin Son had also busted in the very same hand.

According to Philip Poppinghaus and Andrei Gabriel Roscan, Purice had raised and Son pushed for 100,000, which Ferenc Csaba Pal had called from one seat over. Purice shoved over the top and Pal called with {K-Spades}{J-Spades} while Son turned over pocket eights. Purice had {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and a king and queen appeared on the board to reduce the field by two players.

Dan Murariu
Dan Murariu

Dan Murariu got his remaining 18 big blinds in with the ace-seven and Philip Poppinghaus looked him up with {Q-}{J-} as per Tudor Purce. Poppinghaus got there and Murariu was eliminated. He was soon joined by Alexandru Sautner and Cristian Tardea.

Tardea was left very short after losing with {J-Diamonds}{j-Spades} against the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} of 888poker qualifier Sinisa Radovanovic as the board came {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and he busted shortly after.

The Next Three Casualties

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Alexandru Farcasanu, Ioannis Vogiatzoglou and Raoul Ioan Iancovici were the next three players to bust.

Iancovici shoved for just 13,000 and was called by Cristian Dinu Cirja in the big blind, who tabled {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Iancovici was behind with {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the kicker played a vital role as the board ran out {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}.
