Kristian Larsson Eliminated in 3rd Place (€55,000)

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Kristian Larsson
Kristian Larsson

Gabriele Rossi open-shoved out of the small blind and Kristian Larsson called with around 1,700,000, both players tabled an ace.

Kristian Larsson: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Gabriele Rossi: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

There was no help on the {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop and the {q-Hearts} turn left Larsson drawing dead to make the {7-Clubs} river a formality.

Rossi will enter heads-up with a commanding lead over Cornelis de Jong and there is now a short break to set up the duel for the title, trophy, six-figure payday and $12,600 WSOP Main Event package.

Larsson takes home €11,000 for his efforts.

"Remind me not to play with you," Larsson joked.

De Jong Doubles Through Corominas

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

After several all in jams by chip leader Gabriele Rossi and no showdown, it was Cornelis de Jong that jammed for the last 945,000 on the button and Ferran Corominas made the call in the big blind.

Cornelis de Jong: {q-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ferran Corominas: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop brought no surprise yet, but de Jong spiked the {q-Clubs} on the turn. A blank {6-Diamonds} followed on the river and Corominas was reduced to two big blinds.

Rossi Jams Twice

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Gabriele Rossi opened to 230,000 with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Kristian Larsson called with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} in the big blind. On the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, Larsson check-shoved into a bet of 325,000 by Rossi quickly folded.

"I don't want to give you more cards, I am always unlucky on the river," Larsson joked.

Larsson then limped the button with {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and hit second pair, Rossi was in no mood to continue with {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for bottom pair and folded against the bet of Larsson.

For the first time on the final table, Rossi open-shoved into the shorter stacks behind him and got it in with {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts} on the button. Ferran Corominas folded {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Larsson let go of {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

One orbit later, Rossi jammed the small blind witz {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Corominas folded {8-Spades}{2-Hearts} in the big blind.

Right after the hand was over, the players headed into a 10-minute break.

De Jong's Bluff Doesn't Work

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Gabriele Rossi raised to 225,000 first to act with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Cornelis de Jong called with {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} in the big blind. De Jong checked the {q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and Rossi checked behind.

The {6-Spades} appeared on the turn and both players checked before de Jong then bet the {8-Diamonds} river for 400,000. Rossi was seemingly confused and used a time bank extension before making the call with his pair of eights.

Rossi Hits a Flush

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Kristian Larsson opened to 215,000 with the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} on the button and Gabriele Rossi called in the big blind with {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. On the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop, Rossi checked and called a bet worth 220,000 by Larsson.

Rossi made the call with his flush draw and checked again the {a-Clubs} turn. Larsson now made it 285,000 to go and Rossi called once more. The Italian spiked a flush with the {7-Diamonds} river and checked the third street in a row.

Larsson gave up the pot and checked behind to see Rossi turn over his flush. The Italian has establish an even bigger lead over his three opponents now and has their combined stacks covered.
