The third and final starting day of the 2019 888poker LIVE Barcelona €1,100 Main Event will get underway at 3 p.m. local time at Casino Barcelona and, despite the Champions League final later in the evening, the far biggest starting day is expected in one of the most popular poker destinations of Europe.

So far, the previous two flights have attracted fields of 109 entries and 163 entries respectively, and 76 players have already secured themselves a seat for Day 2 and chance to play for a portion of the guaranteed prize pool of €550,000.

Day 1a chip leader Demetrio Caminita remains at the top thus far with his impressive stack of 426,000, while last night's Day 1b chip leader Maksims Gorbacs is now second overall with 268,500.

The duo is in excellent position to not only take a shot at the six-figure prize pool and 888poker LIVE Main Event trophy, but also a package for the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event. The eventual champion in a few days time will receive a package worth $12,600 for the trip to Las Vegas[/B], courtesy of event host and WSOP sponsor 888poker!

Defending champion Adrian Costin Constantin, who came out on top of a field of 709 entries in 2018, is expected to start his title defense today after reaching the final table of the €2,200 High Roller two days ago already. Joining him at the tables will be the 888poker ambassadors Martin Jacobson, Vivian Saliba, and Kara Scott, along with plenty of other notables from near and far.

PokerNews will be your one-stop shop for all the updates here in Barcelona, and there will also be a live stream with hole cards displayed on a security delay of 30 minutes on the 888poker Facebook and YouTube page after the first break on Day 1c, Day 2 and from start to finish on the final day.
