On the river of a board {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Levente Pal saw his hopes of building a stack burst for the second time in quick succession, as his {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the flopped nut flush was downed by Vasile Rablou and his {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

Christopher Heidelbacher had also been in the hand and folded at some point, as Rablou asked him if he had a queen.

"Yeah, I had king-queen of clubs," Heidelbacher replied. While Pal was ousted for the second time today already, it will likely not be the last time he will get spotted at the tables.

Roumen Cannot Beat Bjornebekk

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

With 8,000 in the middle and the flop showing {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Johannes ROumen and Sondre Bjornebekk checked out of the blinds and Laurentiu Avram did so in late position. The {9-Spades} followed on the turn and Roumen was the only one to check-call a bet of 4,000 by Bjornebekk.

They checked the {5-Clubs} river and Bjornebekk tabled {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, which won the pot.

Marius Pertea and Levente Pal have been eliminated and the former has already re-entered, now faces Ran Shahar on his second bullet for the day. The initial stack of Pertea belongs to Adrian Sas, who chipped up even more shortly after in a three-way three-bet pot. With 1,200 invested to the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Sas on the button continued for 1,200 and Florin Elisei in the big blind as well as Oprea Costel in early position called.

The {7-Spades} turn was checked through and Elisei checked the {3-Clubs} river. Costel bet 2,600 and Sas raised to 7,500 in order to win the pot uncontested.

Archer Chips Up

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Ross Archer bet the three-way flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for 300 and was called only by Cristian Dan on the button. They checked the {j-Spades} turn and Archer bet the {8-Clubs} river for 800. Dan raised to 2,200 and Archer double-checked the board with his sunglasses still on before making the call.

Dan turned over {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Archer had a straight with the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Archer apologized for his delayed call and Dan replied back "I thought I had queen-ten and the higher straight."

Another Level 1 Casualty

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Similar to Day 1b, one of the hopefuls that entered with 300 big blinds has been eliminated in the first level and that happened to be Constantin Ghica. Early chip leader appears to be Raul Moratilla Alcolado, who faces Nasser Khelifi on his table.

Potcoava Fires Early On

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante
