Bunica and Bera Bust to Chiriac

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Lucian Bera
Lucian Bera

Lucian Bera shot out of his seat and some players gathered to see the action unfold as a big three-way all in took place. Marius Bunica was the far shortest stack in the hand and was at risk against Bera and Petre Chiriac.

Marius Bunica: {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Lucian Bera: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Petre Chiriac: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board came {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades} and Chiriac had the best of it with the flopped top pair and rivered nut flush. All stacks were counted and Chiriac had some 35,000, Bera was covered by a few thousand chips and left the table in disgust.

Tamaduianu Gets Paid Again

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Adrian Constantin bet the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 4,000 and was check-called by Andrei Tamaduianu in the blinds. On the {k-Hearts} turn both players checked and Tamaduianu bet the {k-Diamonds} river for 6,400.

Constantin instantly called and was shown the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a full house, revealing his {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a turned flush.

An equally big stack belongs to Mihail Lala, who flopped a set of deuces to outs Ion Lulea.

Grigoriu Doubles Through Belea

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Mihai Grigoriu limp-raised to 7,500 over the top of a flat-call, a raise to 2,100 by Razvan Belea on the button and a call by Gusti Adrian Sas in the big blind. Only Belea came along to see the {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, on which Grigoriu snap-shoved. Belea immediately asked for a count and the all in was deemed to be for 22,100.

After using one time bank, Belea called and Grigoriu turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Belea had the slightly inferior pocket pair with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and found no help in the {6-Spades} turn and {q-Clubs} river run out. Despite losing this pot for essentially a starting stack, Belea is far from being a short stack right now, while Grigoriu joined Sas among the bigger stacks in the room.

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

A reraise to 3,300 was next to Andrei Spataru and Ionel Maria called from the cutoff. Martin Jacobson on the button jammed for 27,000 to see the action fold back to Spataru, who then reshoved to isolate successfully.

Martin Jacobson: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Andrei Spataru: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board came {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Jacobson was eliminated on the first bullet, but will likely be back soon for another attempt.

Solyom No More

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Nandor Solyom
Nandor Solyom

Catalin Moraru has chipped up over on table 14, while Nandor Solyom was left short. Just now, Solyom got it in against Johannes Roumen when the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and {6-Hearts} turn had been checked through. Solyom rivered a full house with pocket eights after the {8-Hearts} appeared, but Roumen was only waiting for it as he snapped off with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for the superior full house.

"The eight on the river was the nail on his coffin," Andrei Nodea added.

Klein Loses a Flip

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Nethanel Klein had previously doubled to get back into contention but remained below the starting stack. Eventually, he squeezed for the last 22,900 out of the cutoff over a raise to 4,600 by Alexandru Pavel in the big blind and the latter called after getting a count.

Nethanel Klein: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Alexandru Pavel: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop gave Pavel top pair and he made it top two on the {a-Spades} turn. Only two tens remained in the deck to keep Klein in contention, however, the {j-Diamonds} river was a blank.
