Bedell Wants to Rebuy; More Than Doubles

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Tom-Aksel Bedell
Tom-Aksel Bedell

A reraise to 16,000 was in front of Irena Macesovic on the button and the big blind then shoved for 23,600. Tom-Aksel Bedell jammed the cutoff for 61,000 and Macesovic was sent into the think tank. Kfir Ivgi, who had been on a tear to accumulate a ton of chips after his late entry, jokingly made chicken noises and also offered to give Macesovic some of his time banks.

Macesovic used two of her own and made the call, while Bedell had joked "come on, I want to rebuy."

Big blind: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Tom-Aksel Bedell: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Irena Macesovic: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

"The flushdraw will come on the flop, no worries," Ivgi said in chat but instead the board came {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} to let Bedell more than double as he knocked out the short stack.

Ivgi then inquired how much the overall lead was and even considered getting the stacks in blind with Bedell to make a run for it.

Flush Over Flush Boosts Kenney

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ebony Kenney bet the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop for 6,000 and picked up a call from her neighbor in the one seat. The {10-Spades} appeared on the turn and another bet of 10,700 forced her opponent to use a time bank before making the call with 61,300 behind.

After the {6-Clubs} river, Kenney jammed and was called to reveal the {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, her opponent mucked {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the inferior flush.

Gleb Novik

On the river of a board {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, Gleb Novik made it 16,000 to go and his opponent in the cutoff called. Novik tabled the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush and won the pot, boosting his stack to nearly half a million.

Also on the rise as of lately is Claudio Di Giacomo, who added nearly two starting stacks to his disposal.

Del Pino Nearly Doubles in Strange Hand

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On a completed board of {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, Omar Del Pino faced a raise of 75,000 by his table neighbor and moved all in for another 39,100 on top of that. There were 65,000 in the middle until then and much to the surprise of some players at the table, Del Pino was able to force a fold and chip up significantly.

Ivgi Has Heaps Once More

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

It remains unclear if Kfir Ivgi and Tom-Aksel Bedell stood true to their promise to get it in blind but the seat of Bedell is empty and Ivgi has become the new chip leader.

Irena Macesovic also pointed out that the hot run of Ivgi had started with a double against her when Ivgi defended {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and flopped trips eights. Macesovic had {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and a jack on the turn locked up the double for Ivgi.

Whether or not the Brit with roots in Israel will remain at the top is a whole other topic.

Montgomery Skyrockets Up the Leaderboard

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A massive three-way pot has vaulted UK's Alex Montgomery to nearly half a million in chips as he turned a set of aces against flopped top pair and turned two pair, as well as a flopped set of jacks.

Montgomery held {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, the short stack tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Sinisa Radovanovic revealed the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} as the board came {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Shehadeh Takes a Nasty Beat

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Luigi Shehadeh
Luigi Shehadeh

Frederico Da Rocha opened the action with a raise to 5,000 on the button and Luigi Shehadeh three-bet to 21,000 out of the small blind, which Da Rocha called. On a flop of {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Shehadeh bet 17,000 out of a stack of approximately 86,000 and Da Rocha jammed for 90,000, Shehadeh quickly called.

Luigi Shehadeh: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Frederico Da Rocha: {6-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {k-Hearts} turn changed nothing and the {4-Hearts} on the river improved the Portuguese to two pair, triggering several gasps from the players at the table.

"Ah well, tomorrow is another day," 2017 Barcelona champ Shehadeh said on his way out.
