Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Stefan Wesson
Stefan Wesson

Kimmo Kurko raised to 80,000 in the hijack and Stefan Wesson in the cutoff gave it some thought before moving all-in for the last 355,000. It folded back to Kurko and the Finn made the quick call.

Stefan Wesson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Kimmo Kurko: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The kicker played on the {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board and the manager of Chris Eubank Jr scored the full double. Right after the hand, the last eight players were sent on a scheduled 15-minute break.

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bernat Carreras
Bernat Carreras

Bernat Carreras called all-in for 615,000 out of the big blind when Sandro Hauser shipped it in from the small blind and the following showdown emerged.

Bernat Carreras: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Sandro Hauser: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and {9-Spades} turn delivered the additional sweat but the {2-Hearts} river was not enough for Carreras to double.

Kurko And Hauser Tussle Again in Small Pot

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kimmo Kurko raised from the button with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and was called by Sandro Hauser in the big blind with the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}. The {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop was check-called by Hauser with the second pair. Both checked the {j-Diamonds} on the turn and the {q-Spades} fell on the river for Kurko to improve.

Hauser checked and Kurko now bet 220,000 into 340,000 in order to claim the pot uncontested.

Carbo Takes Small Pot Off Kurko

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Bernat Carreras got a shove through with ace-king as Kimmo Kurko laid down the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Gerard Carbo then raised with the {10-Spades}{9-Spades} to 80,000 and Kurko called in the big blind with the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop was checked by both and the {a-Spades} turn brought no betting action either. They headed to the {j-Spades} river on which Kurko check-folded to a small bet and Carbo raked in the pot without showdown.

Alex Baena Eliminated in 9th Place (€7,500)

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Alex Baena
Alex Baena

Gerard Carbo raised to 80,000 with the {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and was called two ways by Kimmo Kurko from two seats over and Alex Baena in the big blind. The {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop appeared and gave Baena the nut flush draw, which he checked. Carbo also checked and Kurko then bet 70,000.

Baena gave it some consideration and then pushed all-in for 630,000, forcing a fold from Carbo and a sigh-call from Kurko after getting an exact count and using time bank extensions.

Alex Baena: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Kimmo Kurko: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Baena had one live card on top but failed to connect on the {6-Clubs} turn, the {9-Clubs} river also bricked off and sent Baena to the rail in 9th place for €7,500.

Ashley Timms
Ashley Timms

Sandro Hauser raised it up from the cutoff for 85,000 and instantly called the shove by Ashley Timms in the big blind for fewer than 600,000 in chips.

Ashley Timms: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Sandro Hauser: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

There was no escape for the start-of-the-day chip leader on the {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board as the kicker played and knocked out Timms in 10th place for €5,480. A short break will follow to redraw for the unofficial final table.
