Antoine Doubles Through Kim

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Heads-up to the {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Jangsoo Kim check-called a bet worth 6,000 by Jean-Christophe Antoine and then checked the {j-Hearts} on the turn. Antoine pushed for 16,500 and Kim used one time bank before calling.

"Guess I am behind for sure," Antoine announced as he tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Once Kim revealed {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}, the Frenchman gasped an "no way, save me" and the help came via the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Kim was left with 5,000 and bowed out shortly after.

Ferrara Doubles Through Battista

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, a raising war led to the all-in of Matteo Ferrera and he was at risk for the 16,800 he had behind. Pablo Battista was way ahead chip wise but had the slightly inferior pocket pair in the following showdown.

Matteo Ferrara: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Pablo Battista: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} board delivered no suckout and Ferrara doubled.

Gonzalez Jams Into Cazali

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up to the {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts} turn, Robert Cazali bet 3,200 and received a quick call by Jose Manuel Gonzalez. The duo then saw the {10-Clubs} on the river which prompted another bet worth 3,000 by Cazali. Within a few seconds, Gonzalez moved all-in and Cazali reluctantly folded.

Gonzalez flashed the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for just a pair of sevens to further boost his stack. In table chat, Cazali mentioned that he had folded queen-jack. The sudden rise of Gonzalez even propelled the Spaniard ahead of Adan Soler Fernandez, who had been at the top of the leaderboard thus far.

Live Stream Table
Live Stream Table

A short-lived SNG with the ambassadors ended within two hours and one of the Main Event tables was pulled to the live stream set soon thereafter. Adrian Constantin and Gabriel Podovei can be found there with the latter just scoring a double on the delayed action.

Multiple ways to the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} turn, Pierre Garbarino bluff-raised to 10,000 with the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and then reluctantly called the shove by Gabriel Podovei for little more. Podovei had turned a straight with {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the {j-Spades} river brought no upset.
