Three members of the 888poker team are also back for Day 2. Vivian Saliba built up a stack of 219,000 on her opening flight, while Lucia Navarro (89,500) and Ian Simpson (50,500) had to wait for the turbo Day 1d flight last night before successfully making it through.

The action picks up on Level 15 at 1,500-3,000 and a 3,000 ante. Levels are now 60-minutes long. Play on Day 2 consists of 10 levels, with a break every two levels and a dinner break at the end of Level 20.
The large field that has packed the Coventry Building Society Arena over the past few days has already blown past the £500,000 guarantee. And there’s a chance for it to grow even larger with late registration open until the start of the day. The prize pool will then be confirmed.
The first order of business on Day 2 will be making the money. Then it’s on to the final table and, ultimately, the crowning of a new 888poker LIVE champion. PokerNews will be following the journey the entire way and providing live updates.

The 145 surviving players from the four starting flights have been joined by 20 new arrivals, and Day 2 is now underway.
Florian Duta was one of the players who reentered at the start of the day, and on his first hand he moved all in for his starting stack of 30,000 and Daniel Laidlaw called.
Florian Duta: A♥10♥
Daniel Laidlaw: A♣J♣
The J♦8♥Q♥ flop had something for both players as Laidlaw paired his jack, but Duta picked up straight and flush draws. The turn was the 3♠, while Duta whiffed the 10♠ river and was quickly sent to the rail.

In a blind versus blind confrontation, Lucia Navarro led out for 8,000 on a board of 4♥3♥Q♣Q♦ and Florin Gavilrescu called.
The river came the 10♠ and Navarro checked over to Gavrilescu, who bet 16,000. As 888poker cameras began to surround the table, Navarro then moved all in for 66,500.
Gavrilescu used up two time bank cards before he called. Navarro then showed 4♠4♦ for a full house and Gavrilescu flashed Q♠7♠ before mucking.

The river came the 7♣ and Harris spent a minute shuffling his time bank cards in his hand before using one and betting 31,000. Obadun quickly called, then mucked when Harris showed Q♦9♦ for two pair to win the pot.

A pot of around 100,000 was already in the middle as Nathan Jones and Matthew Eardley went to the river on a board of 7♦J♣5♦K♥3♣. Eardley, on the button, then bet another 100,000.
Jones burned through multiple time banks before he mucked, surrendering the big pot. Tablemate Aaron Barone then arrived with 888poker bags for the table.
"At this point it's not just a bribe. It's more of a gift," Barone joked. The table didn't seem to appreciate the gift, though, as Barone was eliminated shortly afterward.
At the same time at another table, Ryan Otto bet 35,000 from early position on a board of 7♦Q♣3♦J♣K♣ and Michalis Michael then moved all in for 104,000 in the hijack.
It was Otto's turn to use some time banks, tossing in three of them before calling with K♥Q♠. Michael, though, had J♦J♠ for a set to double up in the massive pot.
