Jiaze Li opened to 80,000 in early position with A♥A♣ and was called by Hong Pham and Francis Obadun in the blinds with Q♣J♣ and K♠7♥ respectively. The flop fell Q♥9♠3♠ and the action checked to Li who continued with a bet of 125,000. Pham called and Obadun got out of the way.

The turn brought the 8♠ and Pham checked again. Li counted out a bet of 300,000 and Pham check-raised all in. Li had a decision to make with 405,000 behind and eventually made the call.

The river was the 4♥ and Li's aces held on for a double-up through Pham, swapping stacks with the former chip leader.

Obadun Shuts Down on the River

Hong Pham opened to 85,000 from middle position with A♦7♣ and was called by Francis Obadun on her left with A♠J♠. Tobias Kirby Hogarty came along with 6♠6♦ in the small blind and Smit Trivedi called in the big blidn with Q♦9♦.

The flop came K♦7♠5♥ and Pham continued with a bet of 150,000. Obadun was the only player to call and the 4♥ landed on the turn. Pham checked this time and Obadun stuck in a bet of 150,000. Pham called and the 4♣ paired the board on the river.

Both players tapped the table and Pham's pair of sevens was good enough to win some chips back.

The action folded around to Bixi Yao in the small blind who ripped all in for 230,000. Hong Pham wasted little time before calling from the big blind and was in a dominating position.
