Thien Wu Eliminated in 18th Place (£3,300)
Level 21
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Smit Trivedi opened to 24,000 in the hijack and Thien Wu defended from the big blind. The flop fell J♠5♦4♠ and Wu checked to Trivedi who bet 18,000. Wu check-raised all in for 151,000 and Trivedi snap-called.
Thien Wu: 10♠3♠
Smit Trivedi: A♣A♦
Wu flopped a flush draw but was up against the pocket aces of Trivedi. The J♥ on the turn did not give Wu any extra outs and the K♣ on the river was not the spade that he was looking for.
