Jack McDermott Eliminated in 16th Place (£3,650)
Level 22
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Jack McDermott raised to 25,000 in the hijack and Bixi Yao stuck in a three-bet to 85,000 on the button. The blinds folded and McDermott four-bet ripped all in for 328,000. Yao quickly called and the cards were on their backs.
Jack McDermott: Q♠J♠
Bixi Yao: Q♣Q♦
The flop of A♠9♠6♣ got a reaction from the table as McDermott flopped a flush draw. The 5♣ on the turn was black but not the right suit for McDermott. The J♣ hit the river and Yao's pocket queens held up to eliminate McDermott.
