Adams Picks Off a Bluff

Ryan Adams opened to 700 from the cutoff and received calls from James Hawkins on the button and Guillem Morgo in the big blind.

The flop came 9♠2♠3♥. Morgo checked, Adams bet 600 and Hawkins raised to 1,600. Morgo folded while Adams made the call.

Both players checked the Q♦ turn leading to the 3♦ river. Adams bet 500, Hawkins raised to 4,300 and Adams made the call.

Hawkins could only show 6♠5♠ for a bluff after missing his flush and straight draws. Adams tabled Q♣J♣ for top pair and took down a nice early pot.
