Action slowed down on the 5♣ turn, as all three players checked to the K♥ river. Melcea thought for a moment before checking again, with both opponents tapping the table behind.
Melcea laughed as he showed the table 10♣9♣ for a flush, raking in the chips as Dragunea and Popescu folded.
Cristian Vladut opened to 2,800 in the cutoff and was called by Terence Sanders in the big blind. Sanders then checked the 6♣K♣3♦ flop.
Vladut continued for 3,300 and was called to the A♥ turn. Both Sanders and Vladut checked to the 3♣ river, where neither player committed more chips.
Vladut showed J♣J♦ for two pair, while Sanders revealed A♣8♥ for a superior two pair to take the pot and add to his growing stack.
