Mateus Out, Simpson Returns

Action was heads up between Ricardo Mateus and Darius Demetriou on the 5♠4♦Q♦10♣ turn. Mateus bet 6,000 from the hijack and Demetriou check-called in the big blind.

Mateus then announced all in after seeing the A♦ river, with Demetriou taking some time before tossing in the call.

"Good call," said Mateus as he turned over K♠7♠. Demetriou showed 10♦4♥ for two pair, sending Friere to the rail.

At a nearby table, 888poker Ambassador Ian Simpson returned from the reentry desk with a fresh stack.
