Straight Over Set For Lyons
Level 24
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Guillermo Sánchez opened to 160,000 with 7♠7♥ in the hijack and Juan Lyons defended his big blind holding J♦8♦.
Both players checked the 10♦9♠J♣ flop and repeated the action after the 3♣ turn.
The 7♦ river hit both players, with Lyons leading out for 160,000. Sánchez tossed in the call with his set of sevens, then tossed his cards into the muck as he saw Lyons reveal a straight.
