A few hands later, Perez raised to 425,000 on the button as Carlos Diaz and Murciano came along in the blinds.

The flop came A♦K♥9♦ and Perez bet 600,000. Only Diaz called to see the 2♠ turn, where Perez moved all in.

Diaz burned through a few of his time banks before calling for his last 2,560,000 with A♥10♣ for top pair, but Perez had flopped two pair with A♠9♣. The 9♥ river improved Perez to a full house and Diaz was sent to the rail in fourth place.
