Gavasci Sets Up Perez-Dosio

Martin Gavasci raised to 16,000 in middle position and Frederic Massina called in the cutoff. Carlos Perez-Dosio then three-bet to 45,000 on the button and Gavasci called, while Massina got out of the way.

Both players checked the A♥4♣6♣ flop. The turn was the 8♠ and Perez-Dosio bet 30,000. Gavasci took a minute until calling to see the 8♦ river.

Gavasci then led out for 40,000 and Perez-Dosio slid forward a tower of chips to put Gavasci all in. Gavasci snap-called for 115,000.

"I knew you had aces," a tablemate told Gavasci, who did indeed turn over A♣A♠ for a full house. Perez-Dosio mucked K♥8♥ as Gavasci doubled up.

Asif Warris was just eliminated in cruel fashion and shared the details.

According to Warris, Lorenzo Bosco raised to 21,000 on the button after another player limped in. Warris then reraised to 51,000 in the big blind and action folded to Bosco who moved all in. Warris called for 240,000 with two aces and Bosco turned over two jacks.

The flop came queen-high, but Bosco spiked a jack on the turn to make a set and end Warris' run short of the money.
