Cowley Wins Big Three-Way
Level 4
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Ling Chen limped in from middle position, and Jack Jaeger followed suit in late position. Wai Yin Wan completed his small blind before Andrew Cowley bumped it up to 3,600 from the big blind.
Chen and Jaeger both called, while Wan opted to fold preflop. The remaining trio then checked through the 10♠2♦A♥ flop, after which Cowley bet 5,200 on the 9♥ turn.
Chen and Jaeger tossed in more calling chips, prompting Cowley to check the Q♠ river. Chen bet 12,000, which was enough to let Jaeger go of his hand. Cowley instantly called, however.
Chen showed Q♦10♣ for two pair, but it was no good against the A♦Q♣ of Cowley, who had rivered a higher two pair for the winning hand.
