Horton Eliminates Carter to Cross Six Figures
Level 8
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Gary Carter was down to just a few big blinds, which he committed under the gun. Dale Wilson called in the cutoff, and Richard Horton did so in the big blind.
Horton and Wilson checked through the K♦2♠Q♦ flop and A♠ turn, leading to the Q♣ river. Horton bet 10,000, showing Q♠8♠ when Wilson had added his cards to the muck.
Carter was forced to table his 7♥5♠ before he wished his former tablemates good luck and headed out.
