E.C. Back Above Starting Stack
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
E.C. open-shoved from early position for 28,500. Andrew Cowley made a quick call on the button, creating a heads-up showdown.
E.C.: A♣Q♥
Andrew Cowley: A♦J♦
The 6♣9♣6♥ flop provided Cowley with some chop outs, but the 4♠ turn and 10♣ river changed nothing, seeing E.C. double up with the better kicker.
During the hand Wantao Tang sat down at the table as the newest entry of Day 1a.
