Tavares Puts It All on the Line
Level 28
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Vitor Paiva raised his button to the minimum of 400,000 with K♦3♣. Terelle Tavares called 10♣9♣ in the big blind, and the dealer fanned the A♣4♣5♥ flop.
After Paiva tossed in his continuation-bet of 200,000, Tavares check-raised to 450,000. Paiva called to the 10♦ turn, where Terelle bet 500,000.
Undeterred, Paiva called again, leading to the Q♥ river. Tavares quickly jammed in his final 1,900,000 chips, causing Paiva to enter a tank.
After debating calling off with his king-high, Paiva eventually let his hand go to forfeit the pot, seeing Tavares win the pot without showdown.
