Welcome to PokerNews' live coverage of the 2016 888Live Tallinn $30,000 Guaranteed Main Event at the luxurious Olympic Park Hotel in Tallinn.
In about 30 minutes, play is set to begin with over 55 players already registered, including 888poker Ambassador Kara Scott. Surviving players from today's action will compete for the chance to be crowned the latest 888Live Main Event winner in one final day tomorrow, August 27 at 12:00 p.m. The Main Event features a reasonable $440/€400 buy-in, while offering a deep structure with players kicking off the action with 25,000 starting chips and blind levels increasing every 30 minutes.
Players can reenter into the Main Event up to one-time during the late-registration period which ends at the conclusion of level 8.
Many online players qualified into the Main Event package with a package valued at $1,250. Yesterday online qualifiers were lavished with an 888poker welcome kit and enjoyed welcome drinks. Later on in the night, the casino hosted a special freeroll which awarded five seats to the Main Event for friends of players that won packages. This morning, many players witnessed the delights of Tallinn in a special city tour.
On top of the prize pool, players can win special prizes for nailing down the first royal flush, the first full-house, or being eliminated on the stone cold bubble.
As an additional perk, online qualifiers that are eliminated out of the Main Event will also be able to walk away with something in a special bounty freeroll awarding $5,000 in prizes on August 27 at 1:00 p.m. Tomorrow evening, players will be able to dance the night away at a VIP party at VaBank nightclub.

Kara Scott welcomed players along with sharing that the dinner break will take place after level 8. Straight after, the tournament director asked the dealers to shuffle up and deal if there were at least three players seated at their table.
Among the 53 players in the field include Kasso Lassik who won an 888Live Tallinn package valued at $1,250 in a PokerNews qualifier. Also already in their seats competing are 888poker Ambassador and Estonia's Maret Komarova.

Cash Game Festival co-founder Enri Orav just entered the field and took his seat on table 6. While he was counting his chips, on the same table Jari Hurri min-raised preflop to 200. The action folded to Eduard Kruglov who three-bet to 575 from the button.
Players in the blinds both folded, while Hurri called leading to a flop. Hurri gave up on the pot post-flop after check-folding to Arutiunian's small continuation-bet.

Many locals are playing in today's event including Rauno Tahvonen. He just won a hand that started off slowly with him limping from the cutoff with the players from the button and the blinds all calling behind.
The action was checked around on the flop to the player on the button who bet 250. The players in the blinds quickly folded and Tahvonen called.
Tahvonen quickly check-called a bet of 550 from his opponent after the appeared on the turn. He checked for a third time after the hit the turn. This time his opponent bet 1,250. Tahvonen called after thinking it over for a minute and shipped the pot after his opponent quickly through his hands into the muck.

Moldova's Cristian Placinta was one of two players to qualify into the 888Live Tallinn Main Event. Late last night, he won a second seat last night as one of the five players to navigate their way through the freeroll.
