After ten days of great tournament poker and well over 50 events, it's finally time to kick off the Main Event of the 2017 Super XL Series taking place online at 888poker. The biggest and most prestigious event of the series has a buy-in of $1,050, and with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,500,000, tonight's winner can expect to cash a cheque of more than a quarter of a million dollars.

The series features 63 action-packed events from Jan. 19 to 31 with more than $5 million in guaranteed prize pools. The schedule should appeal to players of many tastes with a Mini, Turbo and Main version available for most of the tournaments.

Event #57: $1,500,000 Super XL - Main Event is a deep-stacked affair with players starting off with 20,000 chips and blinds increasing every 20 minutes. Players will be able to rebuy thrice for 20,000 additional chips for $1,050 during the five-hour late registration period given that they lose all their chips. Cards will be in the air at 7 p.m. GMT.
