888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman Comments on Reaching Final Table

Moorman
Moorman

On the first day of the Super XL Series Chris "888Moorman" Moorman reached the final table of Event #01. Yesterday shared his thoughts about making the final table. “I felt surprisingly good considering I haven't played that much online poker lately. This was my first real session back at the tables and to make a final table is a great start. The players were making a lot of moves against me and I was fortunate enough to have good hands in those situations.”

“With the tournament being a reentry one I felt like the average player was more willing to gamble so it was important to adjust to that,” explained Chris when referring to his strategy for the tournament. As to his thoughts of the final table and the winner “Mindcrushers”: “He also started the final table short stacked but were fortunate enough to pick up queens in back-to-back hands, get action and hold to take the chip lead. It just shows how quick your stack and fortunes can change in poker tournaments and to always stay patient and positive.”
