Tom "sheeeeeeeeet" Hall just found a great spot when chip leader "PlumpySouyon" opened under the gun to 6,600 then called when Hall shipped all-in from their left for just under 19k. Hall found aces against ace-queen, and held for a much-needed double.
"PlumpySouyon" came into the day second in chips, and is now on top with the first stack over 200k. In the most recent hand, they called a raise to 5,500 from "For1k" in the hijack to see on the flop. They checked the flop, and "PlumpySouyon" check-called for 5,000 on the turn. They both checked again on the river, and the for "PlumpySouyon" took it down.
"TW0FACE888" was very short-stacked coming in, with less then 10,000 chips. They shoved early, and chip leader "PotofGreed" called from the button, then called again when big blind "8ate8" shoved for 37,329.

Action for Day 2 gets underway shortly, and with many players hitting the Day 2 felt with 10 big blinds or less, action could move quickly. Stay tuned to find out who makes it through the day.
