2023 888poker XL Winter Series Main Event Final Table

There were nearly 1,900 entries in the various Day 1 flights of this $500k guaranteed XL Winter Series Main Event, not quite enough to hit the guarantee. After about 4.5 hours of play on Day 2, 402 returning players were whittled down to 9.

The final 9 players will return for Day 3 action to decide a winner at 2pm ET. Leading the way is Ukrainian "alwaySsmilee" who has more than twice as much as second place Dan "badrobot27" Charlton with bout 3.3 million. "alwaySsmilee" went on a great run near the end of the day today knocking out the last two players to end play and build a massive stack.

There were three members of Team888 in to start the day. Josh "Josh_Manley" Manley managed small cash in 152nd place while fellow UK streamer Ian "Simpioni" Simpson went a little farther in 108th, but neither player bagged any bounties. Brazilian Vivian "vivi.888." Saliba was also in to start the day, but she failed to make the 240 paid spots.

The final day of poker in the Main Event gets going at 2pm ET, but 888pokerTV will be streaming the game with cards up action on delay. Live reporting here will match the delay of the stream.
