Robinson Nearly Triples, Kolaxis Out

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

There was one limp from the hijack and Jordan Robinson raised to 1,100 in the cutoff. Nick Kolaxis moved all in for his last 6,200 from the big blind and the hijack only put 1,100 into the pot. Once he was made aware that there was an all in for more, he made the call for the full amount. Robinson re-shoved all in for 8,200 and the hijack called.

Jordan Robinson: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Hijack: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Nick Kolaxis: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to leave Kolaxis in the lead with the only pair. The {j-Clubs} on the turn was a fun card for everyone and the {2-Clubs} on the river gave Robinson the nut flush to scoop both the main and side pots.

The Ante Up Poker Tour Tampa Bay Downs Event #1 final table.

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.

Things kicked off on Monday with EVENT #1: $160 No-Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD), a tournament that drew 176 entrants and more than doubled the guarantee by creating a $21,472 prize pool.

Some players to cash Event #1 but fail to make the final table were Susan Berman (11th - $418), K.C. Knoch (13th - $344), Sean Turow (16th - $288), and Bob Kelly (18th - $288).

The tournament ultimately came to an end when the final six players agreed to a chop. As a result of it, Steve Rauchut and Casey Wiggins finished first and second for $3,750 apiece.

Lambert Has Mountains Already

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

It is unsure as to when all of the chips got in the middle, but whatever the case was, a massive pot just unfolded. A completed board of {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} was spread across the felt and Ray Lambert was pulling in the pot.

Lambert had {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} laid out in front of him while his opponent showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Lambert claimed the victory with a stronger kicker to take down a pot of around 50,000 chips. With that, Lambert is approaching the six-figure mark and the first break hasn't even arrived yet.

Two In a Row for Bouanani

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ab Bouanani
Ab Bouanani

After a limp from early position, Ab Bouanani raised to 800 in the cutoff. The action folded back to the limper who called to see a flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}. Both players checked and the {9-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Bouanani was faced with a bet of 600 but he chose to play for a little more, making it 2,000 to go. His opponent called and the {q-Clubs} completed the board. His opponent check-called another bet of 2,000 and Bouanani tabled {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} to scoop the pot.

Just moments later, three players saw a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Kevin Castillo on the button who bet 2,000. Bouanani check-raised to 6,500 which got the third player out. Castillo moved all in for around 17,500 and Bouanani quickly called.

Castillo tabled {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for top pair which was ahead of Bouanani's {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the meantime. However, the {j-Diamonds} on the turn gave Bouanani a flush and sent Castillo to the rail.

Rodriguez Doubles Up

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

With around 6,000 in the pot, the flop came down {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Juan Rodriguez was facing a large bet of 6,500 from the player on his right. Rodriguez thought for a moment and then shoved all in for 25,500. His opponent asked for a count and then made the call.

Juan Rodriguez: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The turn was the {6-Diamonds} which changed nothing and the river was the {k-Clubs}, improving Rodriguez to a full house to scoop the pot and score a double up.

Cohen Wins a Flip

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

There was a raise to 1,100 from under the gun and a three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff. Tom Cohen was on the button and instantly slid in a four-bet for all of his chips. The action folded back to the cutoff who asked for a count which was 27,200 before making the call.

Tom Cohen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a classic flip scenario and Cohen took the lead on a flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The {8-Spades} on the turn and the {7-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Cohen crippled his opponent's stack.
