Around 40 players were in their seats at the start of Level 1 today, more than twice the amount that started from the beginning yesterday. Day 1b of the Ante Up Poker Tour Atlantis $1,100 Main Event is on the schedule for today. The second of two opening day flights gets started today at 11 a.m. This will be the final chance for players to advance to Day 2 in this unlimited re-entry, $200,000 guaranteed tournament.

Players will start with 25,000 chips, with 40-minute levels beginning at 100/100 blinds. A big blind ante will take effect at Level 2, which stays at 100/100 and adds 100 for the ante.

The field will take 15-minute breaks after every three levels, with a 60-minite dinner break after Level 9. Late registration will be available up until the beginning of Level 10.

The $200,000 Main Event comes in as the centerpiece of the Ante Up Atlantis series, which guarantees $350,000 across all events.
The Day 1a flight saw 77 total entries make it to Atlantis Casino, and that number included accomplished tournament players like Ian Steinman, Eric Baldwin, Dan O’Brien and Josh Prager. All four of those players were eliminated on Day 1a, and all could come back to take another shot on Day 1b.

The number of entries is expected to be even bigger on Day 1b, and like Day 1a, the tournament will play down to the money. That process took 16-plus levels on Day 1a. Those players that make it through the Day 1b flight today will join the 10 survivors of
Day 1a, and that combined field will come back Sunday for Day 2 and play down to a winner.
