Marcus Rebounds

Tae Jun Noh raised to 55,000 from the button, Van Marcus called in the small blind and Hyoung Jin Nam folded his big blind.

The flop came down {2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Marcus checked to the preflop raisor in Noh who fired out 70,000. Marcus thought for a moment and again stared down his opponent intently before declaring he was all in! Noh quickly folded and Marcus takes a nice pot.

Another Stone Bluff from Noh

The last fifteen minutes have seen Van Marcus and Tae Jun Noh going back and forth at each other, trying to land a decisive blow to cripple the other player. They were running close to even in chips when Marcus raised to 55,000 and Noh called.

On a flop of {9-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}, Noh checked to Marcus, who bet 60000. Noh then check-raised to 160,000. Van asked how much Noh had behind his raise and was told the answer was 350,000. Van ultimately folded, causing Noh to show a stone bluff {3-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. Marcus claimed he only had ace-high but went for a walk after the hand was over.

Family Fun

For the first time today we saw a family pot when Hyoung Jin Nam limped the button and the blinds came along. The flop was {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and action checked to Nam who fired 30,000 to take it down.

A Little Revenge

In a battle of the blinds, Tae Jun Noh raised to 45,000 from the small blind, before Van Marcus popped it up to 115,000 in the big blind. Noh made a quick fold, and Marcus flashed {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}! Clearly it's game on!

Another Pot for Marcus

We're three-handed now, which means the action should be furious. Instead it's fairly conservative. No matter; Van Marcus and Hyoung Jin Nam took a limped flop of {5-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {6-Clubs}. Marcus checked, then called 20,000 from Nam. Both players check the {j-Clubs} turn, but on the river Marcus could wait no longer. He led out for 50,000 and was called by Nam. Marcus showed down the second nut flush, {K-Clubs} {7-Spades}. That was a winner.

They took a heads-up flop of {7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Noh checked to Marcus who fired 90,000. Noh made a quick fold and the Aussies in the crowd including Nali Kaselias, James Obst and Michael Marvenek cheered with approval as Marcus now over 700,000.
