turn, Marcus slowed things down by checking. Nam did not oblige with a check behind; he bet 50,000, folding Marcus.

Van Marcus is turning up the pressure. He's taken his second decent pot in the last few minutes by calling a raise to 105,000 made by small blind Tae Jun Noh. On the {7-Spades}

flop, Noh checked it over to Marcus. He made it 125,000 to go and got a quick fold from Noh.

Van Marcus completed from the small blind and Hyoung Jin Nam checked his option in the big blind.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}

and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Hearts}

and Marcus bet out 55,000 with Nam making the call.

The river brought the {6-Diamonds}

and both checked it down.

Marcus revealed {4-Clubs}

for a rivered pair of sixes as Nam threw his head back in disgust and yelled something in Korean as he tabled {5-Clubs}

for a pair of deuces.

Limped pots often provide for quite a bit of entertainment and are usually the most dangerous pots for the players involved. What started as a three-way limped pot among Tae Jun Noh, Van Marcus and Hyoung Jin Nam turned quite interesting by the river. All three players checked the {4-Hearts}

flop. On the turn {4-Clubs}

, Noh bet 40,000. He may have been surprised to be called by both of his opponents.

Noh tried the same bet of 40,000 on the river {3-Clubs}

. Marcus raised that bet to 110,000. He elicited a pause for thoughtful reflection by Nam before Nam folded and sent the action back to Noh. Noh tanked for a minute, then showed an ace and folded.

Hyoung Jin Nam raised to 85,000 from the button before Tae Jun Noh moved all in from the small blind, covering Nam. Van Marcus folded but Nam quickly released his hand. He's now under real pressure as the short stack on the table to overcome the huge blinds.

Hyoung Jin Nam moved all in from the small blind for roughly 200,0000 and Tae Jun Noh made a quick call in the big blind.

Nam:

Needing a four or five to survive the board fell {8-Diamonds}

to give Noh the pot and end the run of Nam after a fine tournament in 3rd place for a collect of $54,285.
