Fazzolari Causes Carnage on the Turn

It was a raised pot preflop for Antonio Fazzolari and one opponent in the big blind. They both checked the {J-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} flop. When the turn came {Q-Clubs}, all hell broke loose. The big blind led out for 10,000, a bet Fazzolari raised to 30,000. The big blind then moved all in and Fazzolari made a quick call with the nuts, showing Big Slick for a Broadway straight. His opponent showed pocket tens for a set of tens and needed a board pair to avoid elimination. He didn't get it; the river fell {4-Hearts} to send him to the rail.

Fazzolari is up to 270,000.

Recent Eliminations

Martin Cardno is out. His 21,000 chips found the middle of the table with {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} in the pocket. He was called by Jason Pritchard, who showed {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Neither player improved on a board of {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {3-Spades} {2-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}. Pritchard's king kicker played.

The executioner of the Family Milinkovic, Jay Huxley, is also out. He moved all in over the top of an open-raise to 5,500 from chip leader Stewart Davidson. Davidson called and tabled Big Slick. Huxley showed pocket threes for a race. Davidson came in first at the finish, making trip kings on a board of {5-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {2-Spades} {K-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}. Davidson now has more than 300,000 chips.

That's Why They Call Him TheBigSiCkO

TheBigSiCkO
TheBigSiCkO
Kristine Milinkovic limped in from middle position before Michael "TheBigSiCkO" Guzzardi popped it up to 11,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Milinkovic made the call.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Milinkovic led out for 20,000. Guzzardi moved all in for 65,500 in total sending his opponent into the tank. Milinkovic decided to give it up and Guzzardi flashed {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for complete air!

Lackovic Crippled

Petar Lackovic's day is just about done. He called the all-in bet of one opponent on a {6-Hearts} {K-Spades} {2-Spades} {9-Clubs} board, tabling king-seven in the process. He was shown a set of kings and was drawing dead. He's down to 4,500 chips left.

We're out of Milinkovics

The last of the Milinkovic clan, Kristine has been eliminated from the tournament.

Milinkovic was all in preflop for her last 30,000 with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} against an opponent holding {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} however the board wasn't good to her as it fell {K-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades} giving her opponent trip aces, leaving Kristine to join Vera on the rail.

Edmonds is Second to 300K

Brendan Edmonds is nipping at the heels of Stewart Davidson for the title of Chip Leader. He called a raise to 6,200 made by David Lee after one other player called in front of him. On a flop of {K-Spades} {10-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, Edmonds checked to Lee, who bet 18,000. That bet was called by the third player in the hand before Edmonds check-raised to 50,000. Nobody wanted to play for that much.

Edmonds is our second player to have more than 300,000 in chips.

Bechara Plays The Rush

Robert Bechara was sitting with a short stack but after a double up and a bustout he's now back with his head above water with 67,000 chips.

In the first hand he won a race holding {J-?}{10-?} against an opponent's pocket nines when the board fell {10-Spades}{A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} to give him a pair of tens and a double up.

The next hand a short-stacked player moved all in for his last 10,500 with {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Bechara gambled with {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}. The board was again favourable when it arrived {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} to send his opponent to the exit.

Cancel That Body Bag Order

We had Petar Lackovic all but fitted with a toe tag after he was crippled to 4,500, but a series of double-ups have kept his tournament hopes alive. He shipped it in with {A-Spades} {9-Spades} against Jason Gray's {10-Hearts} {8-Hearts}. The flop was huge for Lackovic, coming {6-Spades} {4-Spades} {A-Diamonds} to all but kill any chance Gray had of winning the hand. it was all over after the {4-Clubs} turn.

With that double, Lackovic is up to 55,000. He's not out of the woods yet. Gray is down to 190,000.
